Wewe Local Council Development Area was created on 16th January, 2017by His Excellency, Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajumobi, The Executive Governor of Oyo State. It was carved out of Saki West Local Government, Saki which was splited into three Council Areas namely Saki West Local Government, Wewe and Asabari Local Council Development Areas
Wewe Local Council Development Area is being driven by the vision of bringing Government to the door step of the people at grass root.
